Sunday has arrived quite quickly and I just realized it’s already the middle of the month. While many of you are just starting your gardens and planting flowers, I am quite the opposite as the temperature are rising here in Phoenix.
At this time I really don’t have much left in my little garden that will be able to survive the summer heat, other than a handful of herbs (rosemary, sage, thyme and mint) and our peppers (jalapeño, poblano, mad hatter, bell pepper and snackable peppers). Yesterday I removed dying plants out a few of our large pots, added more soil and planted vincas in a variety of colors. I love vincas because them thrive in the heat of the summer and never stop blooming.

My joy this week has been taking Cody to the park, which is a daily routine, and capturing photos of him when I can. He gives me so much joy and he is by far the best co-worker I’ve ever had.
My hubby snapped the photo of him hiding behind the pillow on our bed. For some reason he likes to hide behind the pillows. Getting him to sit still for photos is challenging but so worth it to capture memories.
I am making great progress on my socks and now working on the foot of each one of them. At this rate I will be finished with this pair by the end of this week, which makes me quite happy.
