“Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.”—William Arthur Ward
I love quick projects, especially when it comes to cross stitching. In the recent newsletter from Primrose Cottages Stitches, there was a free Thanksgiving pattern designed by Lindsey Weight that I wanted to stitch this past weekend, and I did!
This was a one day stitch project that I started early Sunday morning and finished Sunday evening. This morning I added the finishing touches. The pumpkin is from Hobby Lobby. I mounted my finished piece onto a fabric covered piece of sticky board, then glued ribbon on at the top and bottom. I really love how it turned out.
What did you work on this past weekend?
oh my goodness that is beautiful and thank you for the link. I cannot believe you stitched it so quickly!

How lovely! I spent too much time knitting and then unraveling this weekend. That time change thing really had my concentration muscle off kilter. Hopefully I can figure out the mess this week.

Very clever finish. Did you get the fabric covered sticky board at HL too?

Thank you so much Marsha 😊 Hobby Lobby carries the sticky board but I got mine at Joanns. I cut a piece of batting the size of it and then covered it with the fabric and secured it with hot glue. It was super fun!

Count me another one in the “impressed” column – not only for that super-quick stitching, but also the way you finished it and now have a whole setting! (also love the Halloween piece you shared on Friday with that perfect gingham bow)
