It’s going to be a lazy kind of day today and I’m rather grateful for it because rest is much needed, especially for my hubby. As I sit here enjoying coffee this morning, I am thinking about spinning and possibly casting on another sweater, or maybe a cardigan.
Yesterday I finished spinning (finally) my third bobbin of Corridale in Sleepy Hollow and today I think I will start plying. I’ve decided to two ply and will be using a center pull ball method for my plying. I definitely need to get back into the habit spinning 15 minutes a day. Spinning over the last few days has given me such joy.
My plans for my finished handspun is to incorporate the finished skeins into a sweater. I have never done this so I’m excited about the possibilities. I plan to start going through my yarn stash to see what I might have that will compliment the colors of the Sleepy Hollow.

I downloaded all my purchases of Interweave e-Magazines into my GoodReader this morning and will start looking for ideas for possible sweaters or cardigans to cast on, and will be going through all my Ravelry purchases too. I am thinking about casting on the Felix Cardigan by Amy Christoffers (Ravelry link) using my stash on Lionbrand Yarn Woolease in a yummy fall color called Umber. I love fall colors and right now I seem to be gravitating to deep browns, rusts and burnt oranges.

This is such a beautiful sweater pattern! Simple yet elegant – I bet it will look great! I love the colours of your handspun. I think once christmas knitting is over, I'll have a nother go at the spinning and hope for not getting another tendonitis. 😉
