I’m so excited about my three works in progress. On my needles is my modified Flax Sweater. I just need to say, once again, that I am by no means a yarn snob, which means that I am enjoying this project using my stash of Lion Brand Wool-Ease in the color Linen. It will be the perfect compliment to a pair of jeans and will be easy care.
I am also enjoying working on my crochet project, the Quick Win Raglan. I am really loving the look of the Noro Yarn and it is working up quite nicely. The muted brown tones are perfect and I am excited about finishing this sweater, it will be perfect sweater for the cooler weather here in Phoenix and a great addition to my handmade wardrobe.
I am also still spinning my lovely Corridale from Quillin Fiberarts. This is my last 4 ounces and I hope to have it finished soon. I have decided to chain play each bobbin, a total of 12 ounces. I plan to incorporate it into a simple colorwork project of some sort, possibly a sweater or cardigan.
I really love the colors, such a beautiful mix of fall colors!
I must say I am having trouble not casting on, or hooking, all “the things”. I hope to finish at least three knitted sweaters and three crocheted sweaters, as well as a vest or two. I hope to achieve my goal this year and know that along the way I will finish a few pair of socks too!
Until next time, be creative!
