After the experience of the unknown that came with last year, my husband and I talked about creating a small garden area in our backyard but didn’t have the room to do exactly what we wanted. After much thought and planning, we decided to create a container garden on a side of our house that really wasn’t getting used for anything.

We have two patio cherry tomatoes, an organic yellow pear tomato, an early girl tomato, Japanese cucumbers, cilantro, garlic and onions. We pretty much have a “salsa garden” and I know that we are going to have a ton of tomatoes, which I hope to make canned salsa with (fingers crossed).
