Where does one even begin when they have been gone for so long? A lot has happened since my last blog post in September and like many I know, and follow, I just decided to take a break from everything.
I stopped blogging and I stepped away from social media. I closed my Facebook account a year ago and I my Instagram account the end of October. I have found that I don’t miss it and have realized how many hours were wasted from me aimlessly scrolling. Those hours are now spent gardening, knitting, spinning and spending time with my husband. I may go back on to Instagram, just to share what I have been up too, but not sure when.
Lots of knitting has been finished since my last post and I really don’t know where to begin but decided to post a few photos of finished pieces.
I finished my crocheted cardigan that I made in Noro Akari. I decided to knit the front band and love how it turned out. It’s so cozy and warm, perfect for Arizona winters!
Shortly after finishing my cardigan, I finished my Miski Sweater, a free pattern from Mirisol, in Lion Brand Wool-Ease, color Riverside. I should have made the medium size as it’s huge, but nevertheless I love it!
I also finished a Flax Sweater, a free pattern by Tin Can Knits, that I absolutely love and it fits me so well! This was made out of Lion Brand Wool-Ease in Sunset Canyon.
