CQ is a code used by wireless operators, particularly those communicating in Morse code, (— · — · — — · —), but also by voice operators, to make a general call (called a CQ call). Transmitting the letters CQ on a particular radio frequency is an invitation for any operators listening on that frequency to respond.

About  a week ago I made a decision to completely leave Facebook and redo how I was handling Instagram.  It’s a decision that came with a lot of thought and truly has been something I personally needed to do.  I feel that God has been  gently nudging me to leave the things of the world behind and focus on Him and my family.  

I strongly feel that a post I saw on Instagram (right before she closed her account) by Jenny (Jenny of Elefantz) was a sign from God that I needed.  Honestly, this simple act of shutting down, and deleting my Facebook account has brought me an overwhelming sense of joy and peace.  

I plan to continue my blogging as it is a way for me to reflect upon things I care about and share my crafting love.
