Throwback Thursday… I made this shawl a few years ago from my own handspun. I didn’t use a pattern, kind of made it up as I went and it turned out perfect!
I used a lovely fiber from a favorite dyer, Ginny of FatCatKnits. I cannot remember the name of the color but this was a BFL that spun up beautifully. I was very proud of this handspun and loved how it knitted up!

When I wear my finished handspun pieces, it makes me smile. I love spinning and have been pondering about my creative endeavors and goals for the new year. I need to make spinning a priority in my daily life and stick to my #spin15aday mantra. Spinning provides me with such peace and always starts my day off with a refreshed mind.
