So my Berroco Ultra Wool Chunky yarn arrived Saturday from WEBs, which means I got to cast on my Happy Harvest poncho yesterday!!!
As mentioned in my earlier post I chose the color Stonewashed and I really am pleased with my choice. The yarn itself is awesome and not only does it provide beautiful stitch definition, it is very squishy soft.
The color is rather hard to photograph but I took a couple of photos outside, one in the shade and one in direct sun. It reminds me have faded jeans.
Since this project uses an US size 10 1/2” circular needle for he body, it will knit up very quickly. However, I do plan to stick to the KAL timeline, which means this week I need to finish the front of the body this week.

I am really excited about this project and can’t wait to see it finished! This will be such a wonderful addition to my handknits for fall and winter layering.
Until next time, be creative!
